We've prepared firmware 4.0.42.10433. Please see below for the changelog and links to the firmware binaries.

*UIS-8-450W upgrading from 4.0.33 and earlier will have their PoE firmware upgraded automatically to improve PD compatibility. That process will take a few minutes. PoE will be unavailable during the upgrade process.

  • You may start to see EVT_AP_RestartProc events in the controller log. If you see these, please report if there is anything specifically in your setup that triggers the events. The processes restarting is not new, but the reporting of the restarting is, and we are using these reports to clean up these issues.
  • US-XG-6POE upgrading from 4.0.2 or earlier will take a long time to upgrade. Don't be surprised if your switch is unavailable for 5-10+ minutes as 4.0.3+ also updates the PoE firmware to improve PD compatibility.
  • UIS-8-450W upgrading from 4.0.33 and earlier will have their PoE firmware upgraded automatically to improve PD compatibility. That process will take a few minutes. PoE will be unavailable during the upgrade process.
  • 1st gen UAPs may require extra steps when upgrading from firmware 4.0.3. You can try disabling all WLAN groups, and then running the upgrade. Devices that are seemingly "stuck" on 4.0.3 may require TFTP recovery to upgrade from that firmware.
  • All supported 1st gen APs need to be on a minimum of 4.0.10 prior to upgrading to this firmware. Controller 5.10.3+ will force an upgrade to 4.0.10 prior to upgrading to this release (only if your device isn't running 4.0.10 already).
Known Issues:
  • UAP, UAP-LR, UAP-IW, UAP-OD and UAP-OD5 cannot be downgraded from firmware 4.0.17+ to an earlier release.

*This firmware is meant to be a one file solution that works with all models of UniFi switch. You can use it when upgrading from 3.9.40+ only. It will not work when upgrading from earlier releases.

Any and all feedback is welcome, including lettings us know about successful device upgrades. When reporting an issue, please ensure that you include the following information:
  1. Controller version.
  2. Firmware version (previous and current).
  3. Device model(s).
Links are all HTTPS. This assumes your device(s) are currently running at least 3.7.56, and that the device's date is properly set (i.e. it can reach a NTP server). If you encounter issues with the upgrade, or your device isn't on a minimum supported firmware, then you can change the link to HTTP before performing the upgrade.

ik heb de (het wat oudere model) de UAP-Pro... echter zie ik deze firmware update nog nergens verschijnen... gaat deze nog wel komen?
 
dit is nog geen vrij gegeven release, maar een stable candidate.
Als er geen problemen vanuit het veld komen kan het een 'echte release' worden.
Voor nu alleen handmatig te installeren
 
Naardat ik de 40.42 update gedaan heb werkt het gastnetwerk niet meer.

Geeft aan verbonden maar kom niet op de portal webpagina.
 
Ik heb thuis 2 unify, 1 maal ap ac lr en een ap ac mesh.

Beide terug gebracht naar vorige versie en de gast portal werkt weer normaal.

Vreemd !
Zijn er meer mensen die dit ervaren.

Ik wacht even voor ik dit bij 20 scholen ga updaten.
 
ik heb hier ook behoorlijk wat problemen gehad.
het hele lokale netwerk werkt niet meer, internet ook niet na 1 uur zoeken had ik het probleem gevonden, 1 ap ga de problemen.

op nieuw flashen van die ap werkt het weer maar na 10 min weer alles plat.
heb toen nog een reset gedaan en nu schijnt het allemaal weer te werken alleen is de 2,4 ghz verbinding langzaam geworden.
vroeger dik boven de 100 mbit nu nog maar 50 mbit.
en dit moet een stabiele versie zijn (n):mad:

Hier ook redelijk wat problemen gehad met de update van de AP's. De provisioning duurde zeker een kwartier terwijl dit anders maar een paar minuten is.
 
heb een rollback gedaan naar .21 problemen dat de wifi connecties aan het klapperen waren, en zwak signaal. nu is alles weer stabiel
 
Hij draait hier nu wel stabiel, maar ik dat ik mijn klanten maar niet op afstand deze keer een update geef. Is mij te gevaarlijk.

Zo’n versie had ik eigenlijk niet van onze unfi vrienden.

Na deze versie maakt mijn Nest Hello geen WiFI verbinding meer. Dacht eerst defect maar via een hotspot werkt het wel weer. Vreemd verhaal en heeft blijkbaar meer effect dan alleen het gast netwerk.

/edit: Na een downgrade van m'n AP's naar 4.0.21.9965 werkt alles weer zoals voorheen :sneaky:

in eerste instantie ook bijgewerkt naar deze versie, echter na wat verbindingsproblemen, de AP's en switches teruggezet naar .21 deze loopt toch wel wat stabieler!
 
bij mij thuis draai ik op .42 zonder problemen.
op mijn werk geuprade gisteren. alleen maar problemen, niets werkte meer.
dus maar gedowngrade, en werkt weer als een speer
