UAP Firmware 6.2.24​

Bugfixes​

• [UAP-Gen6] Fix beacon rate not being set correctly based on configured minimum data rate, per the logic defined in Network Application 7.2.x.
• [UAP-Gen4/Gen5] Fix Intel Centrino 6235 wireless cards not connecting to APs.
• [UAP] Fix blocked client count going up on the Network Application legacy interface when band steering is enabled.
• [UAP] Fix kernel crashes to improve overall stability.

Please report any issues you encounter with this release using the Report Bug form.

• U6-Pro/Mesh needs to be upgraded to 5.67.0 first before upgrading to 5.68.0+.
• Instead of using the manual links, you can also subscribe to your desired firmware channel, as described here.
• Please refer to this article to find more details on how to identify your Access Point generation.
• Your device built-in display may turn black or unresponsive for ~10 minutes after firmware upgrades to upgrade LCM firmware.
• All URLs use HTTPS. This assumes your device(s) are running 3.7.56 or later and that the device's date is properly set. Please change URLs to HTTP for device(s) running earlier firmware or if the date is incorrect (e.g. if device can't reach a NTP server).

Any and all feedback is welcome, including lettings us know about successful device upgrades. When reporting an issue, please ensure that you include the following information:

• Network Application version.
• Firmware version (previous and current).
• Device model(s).

Ik heb alles op EA draaien. Op een enkele keer na, geen echte problemen gehad.

Dat vind ik nog wel een dingetje.
Een of twee weken geleden werd een versie ... .19? teruggetrokken, en hier een regel uit de changelog van 6.2.23:

Fix some devices not reaching Connected state, introduced in 6.2.22

Als ze dus iets introduceren waardoor een apparaat in een boot-loop komt of op een andere manier niet meer connect, dan wordt de herstelprocedure voor een toestel zonder scherm en toetsenbord wel moeilijk.

Ach ja, als het stuk gaat dan fixen het wel weer.
Dan maar even geen internet in huis. Waar dan toch niemand over klaagt.
