UniFi Access Point 6.2.35​

Improvements​

  • [UAP] Improve wireless uplink and wireless adoption.
  • [UAP] Improve RSTP/STP/MSTP loop detection to avoid erroneous switch port blocks in some cases.
  • [UAP] Ensure TKIP cannot be configured when WPA3 is enabled.
  • [UAP-Gen2] Reduce excessive debug logging messages.
  • [UAP-Gen4] Update regulatory data for UK.
  • [UAP-Gen6] Improve overall throughput.

Bugfixes​

  • [UAP] Fix some devices going into an 'Offline' state on the Network Application after some time of use.
  • [UAP] Fix a number of kernel crashes leading to unexpected reboots.
  • [UAP] Fix devices intermittently not defaulting when forgotten from the Network Application.
  • [UAP] Fix band steering compatibility with certain IoT devices (eg: Sky Q Box).
  • [UAP] Fix wireless adoption failing in a crowded environment (lots of BSSIDs), introduced in 6.2.27.
  • [UAP] Fix devices occasionally not resetting when they are forgotten from the Network Application.
  • [UAP] Fix APs intermittently getting stuck after a configuration change (eg: UAPSD) or RF scan.
  • [UAP] Fix wirelessly uplinked devices occasionally going offline because of a falsely-detected RSTP loop.
  • [UAP-Gen4] Fix incorrect 802.11v IE advertisement.
  • [UAP-Gen4] Fix TPC Report Transmit Power in Beacon IEs.
  • [UAP-Gen6] Fix intermittent connectivity issues in large networks.
  • [UAP-Gen6] Fix AP occasionally broadcasting on unsupported channels when set to 'Auto'.
  • [UAP-Gen6] Fix neighboring AP bandwidth being reported as -1 in some cases.

Additional information​

  • U6-Pro/Mesh needs to be upgraded to 5.67.0 first before upgrading to 5.68.0+.

  • Please refer to this article to find more details on how to identify your Access Point generation.
  • Your device built-in display may turn black or unresponsive for ~10 minutes after firmware upgrades to upgrade LCM firmware.
  • All URLs use HTTPS. This assumes your device(s) are running 3.7.56 or later and that the device's date is properly set. Please change URLs to HTTP for device(s) running earlier firmware or if the date is incorrect (e.g. if device can't reach a NTP server).
